If you are youths contributing significantly towards women empowerment and gender equality at all levels either local, national or Regional. Then, this is your chance to attend the EDD young leader programme in Brussels, Belgium alongside other developmental youths of high influence to share your vision and exchange ideas.
The European Commission now receives application from youths and young leader throughout the world to participate in the 2018 European Development Days (EDD) Young Leaders Programme. The aim of the EDD program is to select 15 youths to represent and deliberate the amazing impact young people are contributing to the development field and their significant effect in creating most innovative development projects.
About the European Development Days
Every year the European Commission bring together young people in the development community to exchange ideas, experiences and their various innovative approach in the development field hereby create new connection, partnership and new solution to the global challenges.
All selected youths will be invited to Belgium to take part in the 2018 EDD young leaders program to share ideas with world leaders and change makers in the development areas.
For the past 3 years, the Young Leaders development blog has grown tremendously and become an amazing platform for youths to share ideas, experiences, and new development projects.
The EDD 2018 is schedule to take place Brussels, Belgium at Tour & Taxis on 5-6 June 2018
The Young Leaders Programme is a 10-day visit to Brussels, where all selected Youths will meet EU experts, stakeholders and play an active role in the EDD Programme and lots of speaking session alongside global leaders.
The European commission will cover all expenses which includes Travel and accommodation for all selected fellows
To be eligible for the young leaders program, you must be:
- Between the age of 21 to 26
- All young people throughout the world can apply
- Must be active involved in the fight for gender equality and women empowerment
- You must be willing to share your ideas and experiences in high-level debates with change-makers in the development field
